Twitter is the most powerful tool in the world for a new business.

Here’s some resources on how to use Twitter:

Checkout http://hootsuite.com – This will let you manage all of twitter, twitter search, your messages, stats on how many clicks your tweet links get and allows you to autofollow people who follow you. Within the search section you can set up a keyword, say “eventzi” (blatent plug for my site) and see who is talking about you, then you can follow them and get involved in a conversation with them. It is the most valuable tool i’ve used so far.

On the Iphone, the best app is TwitterFon. You get to see message replies (@eventzi…), direct messages (DM) and you can search for keywords too, on your mobile. And obviously you can send out tweets.

An awesome help site is called http://www.twitip.com If youwant to learn even more about twitter, check that out.

To get more followes, here’s a mega tip – Learn how to use the retweet (RT) function. Why? Well if you expose other people/buinesses/tools you are adding value to their business and theres more chance they will return the favour and give you some value back by promoting you. Its works and its powerful.

Dont just talk about yourself all day, its boring and nobody cares.

Check out my page at http://twitter.com/eventzi and see the different ways i use it,

Go on, get stuck in.

I look at lots and lots of different web applications and pick little bits from them to create a new idea. I use go2web20.net mainly, its the best directory online and you can see lots of ideas.

However this is how i would build a new startup. Id pick out a tried and trusted business, improve on it and add features from another business.

So you might have an events listing site that can bring in information from blogs and twitter about that particularly event. Now you can see what people are saying about it. Wicked!!

New features that i will add to Eventzi are all based on proven ideas that can help event hosts sell more tickets!

Eventzi

We have officially launched Eventzi and I’m excited!! The last year has been insane but its all been worth it and i have some wonderful customers who the site will really help. We will build on this and launch some crazy features after we have a steady list of users. Eventzi already has customers from over Europe and the US, its amazing!

Web Start-up E-Book

I’m going to be writing an e-book that’s sort of – Getting Real / Boostrappers Bible / How To – all in one. Im going to insert all the great content that people need to know if they want to start a web business.

Startup Wiki

I will be creating a Wiki that includes links and some great tools to help you as well as listing tons of free tools and people to follow, all broken down so its all simple.

Why?

I was given shocking advice from people who didn’t know how to setup a web business, but there was nobody else, so I stopped working on what has become Eventzi in 2006.

I kept reading about how i should move fast or be last. I couldn’t move fast, i didn’t have anyone or anything really. How can you move fast when you don’t know what to do or people to help you build something online. My first quote for Eventzi was £40’000, i spent less than 10% of that.

Its about time someone did this and worked hard to encourage people to go for it. Especially in Scotland.

This e-book collection thing I’m working on should seriously help anyone who is in similar shoes,

My bootstrapped start up Eventzi is now in test mode. I have worked like a banger to get this going and it will help so many people its insane.

If you run events for anything you should sign up here and get an early look around before anyone else. It looks great and its going to look even better.

We are providing tools that let event holders get their event online, promote their event with new media, while being able to sell tickets and collect the money online.

The “awesomeness” comes from the simplicity of it all. It takes minutes to get the page online, if you have a PayPal account then you can receive ticket money instantly to your account. You can drag in your pictures from places like Facebook or Flickr and grab your videos from places like YouTube really quickly.

If you run a free event or dont want to take payment online, then we are free.

If you want to take payment online it costs £0.70 Sterling or $1 USD per ticket sold. PayPal charges an additonal 1.9% to 2.9% + $0.30 USD to process the payment of each ticket to an event holders PayPal account.

So if we sold a ticket for $5 USD, there would be a $1 USD Eventzi fee as well as $0.45 USD PayPal fee.

5 X 0.029 = 0.15 — 0.15+0.30 = 0.45 — 1+0.45 = TOTAL FEE of $1.45 per ticket.

There’s tools to edit your event, invite guests, create repeat events and there is also an analysis area!

The Event Page is super simple for attendees to use. There is a location box, ticket box and a promotion section to show off what your events about! You can also share it using the share button which means you dont have to update several Social Pages every time, this little tool helps!

To top it all off we have used GetSatisfaction quite heavily to offer the best support i possibly can. I’ll personally deal with customers as long as im a part of the business!!

I really hope this helps people kick on and create some great events!

I’m think I’m a good persuader, partly because I’m a story teller. If i hear a friend say something that i think isn’t bang on, i will tell stories from different angles so they can think about the situation a bit more.

More information about the topic doesn’t work very well. We relate to stories.

Stories work from the right side of the brain. When hearing a story, people will get that story into their head. They feel the experience. They identify with the successful person of the story. They become the successful person of the story in their own minds. Then, having lived the story, they start to see the the world in a different way. If the story is good, they will want to do that as well.”

The way to tell the best story is to find the way to success in the story. That may be a person or an outcome. For example, if someone was trying to over complicate their golf swing. I might tell them a story about a top pro golfer and take them through their simple swing.

All i am hearing just now in the world is that the economy is taking a beating, that the world is nearly over and that the good days are gone forever. Its not really true. If it were then theres no point in being creative.

Be creative changes the rules and the assumptions, “we havent got enough money to advertise” is correct unless you rephrase the statement to be “we wont have any money to advertise if we do it this way”. The difference is huge.

Try to be creative and look at all the angles. If you give your creativity a chance, it might reward you, you might even change the rules every time theres a problem to be solved.

Alltop helps you explore your passions by collecting stories from “all the top” sites on the web. They’ve grouped these collections — “aggregations” — into individual Alltop sites based on topics such as environment, photography, science, muslim, celebrity gossip, military, fashion, gaming, sports, politics, automobiles, and macintosh. At each Alltop site, they display the headlines of the latest stories from dozens of sites and blogs.

You can think of an Alltop site as a “digital magazine rack” of the Internet. To be clear, Alltop sites are starting points—they are not destinations per se. The bottom line is that they are trying to enhance your online reading by both displaying stories from the sites that you’re already visiting and helping you discover sites that you didn’t know existed.

Over at the Open Forum, Guy Kawasaki has just posted about creativity.

It got me thinking about what ideas i came up with while at University. I think the 3rd point in his post is the most important for idea generation.

“Build on ideas that came before. The iPod isn’t a miracle that came out of the blue—it was built on the Sony Walkman’s concept of a shirt-pocket device coupled with early MP3 players from other companies and the online store of a company like Amazon. The concept that creativity is built on what came before has important ramifications: consume information voraciously, go outside your market niche, and don’t be too proud to steal inspiration.”

This took me about 2 years to really grasp, but the problem i had was that the lack of cash i had to make these ideas work. However the web has removed the barriers of building web tools and services. Its cheap now!!

Eventzi was born out of this mashup of ideas:

1. The mainstream began to use use Bebo and Facebook. This meant that people could connect together and share like never before.

2. Ticket selling sites drive me nuts. They do a job for large events but negotiating deals based on each tour or event is ridiculous, especially for small events where people are working their ass off to make it work.

3. So a Bebo/Facebook style event page with a ticket selling service sounded sweet.

4. I wanted to bring in the same tools that the big guys get, but really kick it on so we can let people share their photos, music and videos, which lets them promote at the time potential attendees are about to buy a ticket.

5. It has to be kept simple and clean so its dead easy to use. As you know, there’s a lot of clutter on web pages!

6. Pricing needed a refreshing change of direction, Traditional event services charged a % of the events ticket price, which is insane in my opinion, a £10 ticket has a 2.5% fee = 25 pence, but a £100 ticket x 2.5% fee = £2.50. Then payment processing fees are added. The hike for the same service fees, punishes event hosts.

- What Eventzi does is charge $1 per ticket sold. This means small inexpensive events aren’t killed before they get going. The more expensive events aren’t punished for charging more for their tickets.

- There is also a 1.9% to 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction for payment processing fees. This is what PayPal charge for keeping everyone safe.

7. Customer Service is our number one asset. I will personally deal with every question and problem. We have set up a brilliant community support area on GetSatisfaction.com where we can help you and you can chat to our other customers for advice or support. There is also a monthly newsletter delivered by the brilliant MailChimp.com to offer tips, tricks and promotions (signup here) . And if that wasn’t enough already we have a tour section with video tutorials to let you see how to you can use Eventzi. This also links to our Viddler page where all the videos live. You can also catch me on Twitter @scottpurdie and the business updates are on @eventzi.

So as you can see there are a some ideas thrown together but being supported by other great services.

I hope this helped, let me know.

First of all Twitter is a weapon. But it looks like a really harmless teddy bear.

In local business. some relationships are not worth the effort, some are. I spent the day working on Eventzi, then had a little ideas about Twitter and local businesses.

Lets just say your local coffee shop had a Twitter account and encouraged you to follow them, maybe even giving away a coffee.

This could keep potential/loyal customers in touch with new ideas or promotions.

Now it might seem like its trivial and i can hear you saying, “do our customers even know about Twitter?”, “whats the point?”, “how different is this really compared to the bucketload of other ways to advertise?”

There is a momentum kicking along with Twitter and the recent celebrity adoption of the service. Businesses who get it are really nailing it and helping their customers to feel great and kick ass.

I think this will become mainstream:

- It’s opt in and easy to unsubscribe should you decide it’s not for you

- It can be personal but not intrusive.

- Its delivered in formats appropriate to the users – from SMS to Facebook and pretty much everything else in between and around the sides.

- There is very little friction – the benefits for the coffee shop and their customer is way in excess of the effort required to make and accept the offer.

- It’s open to the mainstream on their terms.

How it evolves is facsinating. There are so many different elements that can get in the way of so much open data. For example:

In what context are followers likely to read the offer? When is the optimal time to post a free am coffee special offer? How to measure conversion rates? Will these relationships be exploited somehow.

My favourite evolution is the geolocation. For example can coffee shops target their offers to people who are in the local area or when they enter it.

I have just downloaded a jam packed Google Analytics app for the iPhone called Analytics App and it’s the first ive seen or read of thats brilliant. It cost me just over £3. The application is well designed and packed with the features we need from Google Analytics.

With support for multiple accounts, 29 stat reports available, the ability to create your own custom stat reports, as well as cleanly designed graph analysis, it definitely has everything i need.

Analytics App will take some beating. Its easy to use, well designed and has enough features to keep me happy for now.

Checkout their site here or download the app here (itunes link)

This is related to Mike Arringtons post on Techcrunch.

Offline nobody really has a pot shot at me or my business, they might and probably do behind my back but that person is held responsible for that comment or opinion.

People have to take responsibily for what they say and online it is way too easy to create fake profiles and comment anonymously. I think its time there is a real push to make every comment as accountable to a real person as we possibly can.

In regards to being spat on, i praise Mike Arrington for not retaliating. It is sick and i hope the person is embarrassed online and publicly made accountable for his actions.

It is truly crazy when someone threatens to kill you and is regarded as unstable, owns a gun, resulting in someone having to hide.

Anyone is aloud to strongly disagree and rightly so but there should be a level of respect. Both of these example take disagreement to a level that is way beyond what anyone should have to deal with.

If you want to be respected and gain value with what you do, put up your picture, your real name and link to your blog or another profile. If you own a blog let people see who you are. If you strongly disagree, think about your point and state it.

There is no need to be cruel and abusive. You will gain nothing that way.

Let me know what you think about this.

I definitely have highs and lows. A new idea makes me go around signing and smiling. The lows, like when someone says an idea is ok or stupid are tough to ignore. People think it’s not worth it, everyone’s doing something, how do I compete, what if someone does what im doing. It is normally followed by doing nothing or something else.

Wait a freaking minute. Been there. Here is what I think.

So many people have awesome ideas and shockers, but you have to prove they don’t work. Anyone can say it wont work. If you try it out and it doesn’t work, you will have learned so much from the process that its priceless. I don’t understand why people won’t even attempt to make their business idea work.

I’m more prepared to identify stupid things I do, therefore preventing myself from failing in the same way again.

At some point, everyone has thought of the brilliant big time idea. We thought it through, research some stuff on Google, thought about how rich and successful we will be and imagining what we could buy. I’ve done it and most people have too. The problem is that we are better at dreaming than doing. A dreamer isn’t an entrepreneur.

At 21 I started my first “company” and convinced my Uni friend to build an internet promotion and advertising portal. We knew so little we needed a web builder!! It actually worked fine but we made so many mistakes we failed to make money.

Some people will do all the hard work, they’ll launch a prototype of their project, put in little effort to get it noticed, then call it a failure. If you’re going to fail, at least work your ass off to get people to look at it, just because nobody has seen it, doesn’t mean it’s a failure at that point. Some entrepreneurs have multiple ideas that they’re working on at the same time and hope that one might make them a lot of money.

When we built the promotion and advertising portal we looked no further than the summer festival, which is huge, we needed a strategy past that, but because each company wouldn’t share links nobody saw us. This meant we couldn’t make money that way and we ran out. As well as that we covered so many topics too quickly it was insane and we couldn’t nail each perfoming category we were diluting everything.

Another type is the person who has absolutely no time for anything other than their work. They make a solid attempt to see their business idea through, but get distracted by the idea of another growth opportunity. These people work hard but lack serious focus on one project, I suffered from this a lot and you can lose confidence but the results of staying focused totally outweigh starting a new idea.

I was working on helping traditional businesses use online tools for their business. I worked on it, got a few clients that paid for the service. I then tried out a more physical business that customized shoes with crystals which also had a few clients paying. I was locked into handling two completely different companies. Not good, its 2 half assed businesses.

Now I run a blog which helps new guys use web tools and start up a web app business. I use selected tools which are connected to my new business that is being built to integrate people and information from all over the place. It make life easier, its more focused and there’s a purpose to each tool I use.

Almost everyone is a dreamer. Entrepreneurs get things done, get people to see it and make money. If you don’t put in the effort to build your company, you’ll see nothing but a frustrating fed-up feeling that can irritate you for a long time.

My message to people is that when you make the time and find the resources needed to make your idea a reality, you’ll experience the enjoyment of knowing that you’ve created something amazing that’s helps someone or something.

We are so focused on using all of these tools, it becomes difficult to master and really use each tool to its full usage.

Pick the tools and services that are total weapons for your business or life and spend more time mastering them as weapons.

The more we use and the more complex things become, the larger chance of entanglement, which screws everything up.

I started this blog when i was a total newbie.

It was setup before i found go2web20.net, gmail, google reader, twitter etc, i used it so i can learn about new tools because i think the web and the services online are weapons that I can use as an entrepreneur.

I created it for myself (as a kind of library) and for any other people who are starting in the web world, so it made their path to the best content a bit easier.

Im going to freshen things up in the next 3 weeks and drop links to content in Tumblr or Posterous. scottpurdie.com will be 100% about what I think, i might even start using video. He found out Popurls werent going further than tech, so Guy did.

I am building Eventzi from ideas that are taken from tons of different places.

Eventzi doesnt even have a development team hired yet and iv got some awesome ideas for other sister services, i could create. They came from web services that are catering to a different market.

To start off…

Check out Flickr. Look at their pages, so clean and easy to use. They also use a clever colour set. It has a white background with 2 more base colours. They dont put stuff on a page that doesnt need to be there. Iv tried to work from that.

Vimeo is beautiful, they have a dropdown bar that is great for splitting up topics on their roadmap page. We are using something like it for the steps to create an event.

37signals marketing pages are just sensational. We have use some ideas and tried to make it even cleaner. They are releasing some new marketing pages for highrise soon.

Let me know what you find!

Mashable

Andrew Warner is an Internet entrepreneur and the founder of Mixergy. He interviews successful people to learn how they did it. You can listen to his interviews at Mixergy.com.

Guy Kawasaki, the investor, entrepreneur and best selling author, just wrote a new book called Reality Check. The book is a collection of practical ideas for building a successful business. With the book in mind, I asked him for a few reality checks for Mashable readers. Here are seven:

Reality Check #1: Do one thing well

If your startup tries to do too much, you’ll lose. Guy told me, “I meet companies every day who say, ‘well we’re software services, and we’re also consulting. And we are a social networking site, but we also do white labeling in case you want to use our technology to do your own social network.’ And you know what, it’s hard to do any one of those things, try doing four.”

Reality Check #2: Court your thunder lizards

Quit pretending that you’re smarter than your community. Find ways to act on the energy of your “thunder lizards,” Guy’s term for your most passionate community members. Guy does that at Alltop, his RSS aggregation site.

“There are some people who not only suggest topics for Alltop, they send us their OPML files with all the feeds that should be in those topics. All we had to do there is have an open mind to having other people contribute to the community and to the quality of Alltop. But many, many companies will refuse that help. They’ll say, ‘NO. We know better.’”

Reality Check #3: Be crappy

Stop working on making your product perfectly perfect before you launch it. “You need to ship something that’s truly different and valuable and all that, but version 1 doesn’t have to be perfect,” says Guy. “Version 1 of Alltop had only 12 topics. We didn’t exactly have critical mass. If we had waited till we had 500, we’d still be waiting today. Once you have an idea…you ship it and then you test as you go.”

Reality Check #4: Learn to steal

You don’t have to invent your best business ideas. Guy has said many times that he created Alltop by copying popurls, an aggregations site that focused on a narrow set of subjects.

“Popurls was sending Truemors [a site Guy launched previously] so much traffic. And so we looked at what the hell is this popurls thing sending us as much traffic as Google. And then I got to know the creator of popurls and I asked him if he was going to do anything besides tech and business. And he said, ‘no.’ So I said, alright, I’m going to do them all.”

Reality Check #5: Hire “blindly”

Without realizing it, employers bring biases into job interviews. To hire smarter, Guy suggests doing your interviews over the phone–without seeing applicants. ”When you do things in person,” he said, “because of the person’s physical nature–attractive/unattractive, sloppy/not sloppy, fashionable/not fashionable–you make these judgment and it changes the interview. Where if you didn’t see the person and didn’t know what he/she looked like or smelled like or dressed like, I think it’s a much more objective interview.”

Reality Check #6: Just build it already

This is a tough market for raising money. Before you waste your time trying to raise money, work on building your product. “I think now, you truly have to show up with a prototype and even better a working site,” he told me. “You can no longer say, ‘give me a few million bucks and trust me I’ll build it.’ Now you have to show up with something that’s done.” After doing that, you might find that you don’t even need investors’ money.

Reality Check #7: Be honest

How’s this for openness? I asked Guy about his crowning achievement as a venture capital investor. “I don’t have a crowning touch,” he told me. “I believe I am still not proven as a VC. … I haven’t picked a Google, Yahoo, Apple or Cisco. I want to, but I haven’t.”

Have you heard another VC admit that? I haven’t. But it’s the kind of openness that helped Guy’s readers trust his honesty.

Louis Gray

Most of these practices and techniques are still very much relevant today as they were then, so I thought I would touch upon a few of the key ones.

1) Start with your domain name.

You have heard it before a million times, register a .com domain name. The domain spelling should be as equivalent to someone typing that word in a search engine. It should be relatively short and easy to spell as well. Try to avoid hyphens and or any unnecessary or unusual character variations. Most search engines still to this day give a lot more weight to .com extensions, as opposed to other TLDs. Keeping the domain name easy to spell and avoiding hyphens is more for branding purposes, than SEO. Search visibility can still be achieved with a confusing, long character riddled domain that makes no sense at all, but will someone be able to find it, and most importantly remember it without the assistance of a search engine?

2) Establish quality inbound and outbound links.

Search engines, more specifically Google, ranks your site based on the amount of inbound links it has from other sites. Spend time and get authoritative sites linking back to you. Inbound links from these sites are worth their weight in gold. Links from an authoritative site also influence ranking. More weight is given to these inbound links because these sites are considered a trusted and or leading source as they are considered the most influential on a particular subject matter, e.g. Wikipedia.org

3) Understand PageRank.

Websites that Google believes are important and influential receive higher PageRank. A Higher PageRank can influence better search results and rankings. Authoritative sites, for example, usually have a high PageRank. PageRank is worth taking note of, but should not be your main focal point. You can check a site’s PageRank by going here, or by installing the Google Toolbar.

4) Put relevant keywords on all of your Web addresses.

Make sure any content you publish on the web has the keywords of the subject or story headline formatted in the permalink/web URL. If your are writing a post, for example, about how FriendFeed was just acquired by Google, you would format the URL similar to this, http://www.yoursite.com/friendfeed/google-acquires-friendfeed.html, or http://www.yoursite.com/google-acquires-friendfeed.html. Notice the sub-directory in bold has the keyword of the story subject. Take advantage of whatever you can to give as much URL mention of the target keyword as possible.

5) Headlines and page titles should always contain the target keywords.

In combination with having the relevant keywords in your URL, the same emphasis, if not more, needs to be placed on placement of keywords in your headlines and page titles. If you do no optimization at all, at the very least always practice these three guidelines. It’s also a good idea to put the relevant keywords of focus first in the headline and page title, and if possible somewhere in the start of your story content. Failure to practice these guidelines will leave your site buried pages deep in the search results, rendering it almost nonexistent, at least to the search engines.

6) Start a Blog.

Blogs are a major source and very relevant source of information for millions of people daily. Blogs are also influencing consumer’s decisions to buy products. Think about the last time you searched for something on Google. There is a high probability that you found your information on, or were referred from a blog. Search engines, specifically Google love blogs for the rapid amount of fresh and timely content they produce. Setting up a blog is very easy, and if tweaked correctly can be a powerful tool for search engine traffic generation. Configure your permalink structure immediately after installing your blog. Spend five minutes tweaking the basic admin settings. I would also recommend installing and using plugins such as the “All in One SEO Pack” available for WordPress. Now you can focus on producing the quality content that will get your site linked to and noticed. Give and get as much “link love” as possible. Become an expert in your field and let your content reflect that. Use the power of RSS to convert that search engine click into a return visitor.

7) Use keywords as anchor text when linking.

Anchor text is weighted highly in search engine algorithms and subsequent search results. Anchor text gives the user and search engines descriptive information about the content of a hyperlinks destination. Use Anchor text keywords, especially as often as possible when linking to pages. Avoid using “click here” at all costs, this will do nothing to increase or improve visibility.

 Install Web Analytics software.

Flying blind is foolish. You need to first measure, and understand your traffic patterns and behaviors before you can seek to improve it. Installing Google Analytics should be your starting point.

9) Utilize Sitemaps.

Sitemaps, are basically a list of all the pages pertaining to a particular site. This protocol allows you to notify Google about URLs on your website that are available for crawling and indexing, that may otherwise have not been discoverable by Google’s normal crawling process. They also should help with getting your site crawled in a more timely fashion.

10) Use Google Webmaster Tools.

Google’s Webmaster Tools, allows you to see your website the way Googlebot sees it. The tools provide data on finding out which sites link to yours, finding search queries that list your site as a result and finding which of your site’s pages are indexed, and also showing you any errors Google encountered while crawling your site. Those are the core features, but there is more under the hood. The goal is to make your site as Google friendly as possible. The more data you are armed with and utilize, the better your chances are for higher visibility in search results.

11) Produce and publish quality content with some frequency.

Write quality content and publish on a regular basis. Sites that publish more frequently are seen as more reliable than sites that seldom do. This also helps for you to increase the amount of content on your site, which in turn yields more indexed pages, which then yields more visibility, increasing the quantity of search clicks to your pages.

12) Use Headline tags.

Headline tags (h1, h2, etc.) are a great place to use your targeted keywords, phrases and secondary keywords. Search engines recognize that headline tags are more important than the surrounding text, therefore they assign greater value to keywords found within them.

13) Don’t forget about the other engines.

Google, the gorilla, produces the biggest quantity of search traffic for the majority, but don’t forget about Yahoo & MSN. It’s at least worth the effort to stay current on both of their publishing guidelines. Yahoo has a resource for web publishers, as does Microsoft to help you better optimize your pages for their engines.

14) Consistency is the name of the game.

Focus on what works and run with it. There is not one single magic bullet for achieving better search results. It’s a combination of these practices and understanding what criteria the search engines look for when indexing your pages. Search is all about optimizing for the relevant keywords or phrase, master this practice and it will pay off. Don’t expect results instantly. It takes time to build up your content, establish inbound links, tweak and re-tweak.

15) It gets better by using social media.

Guess what? If you are active in social media, you are probably already ahead of the game. Social networking profiles such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter all get favorably indexed, and always rank on the top of the search results. This is especially great if your goal is for personal branding. Being active and maintaining consistency, should easily allow you to own your name in Google. Social media is probably the most invaluable tool you could use for traffic generation, if executed correctly. User generated content and the applications that power them such as, blogs, wikis, video, social networking sites, bookmarking, microblogging, etc are the leading mechanisms for search engine traffic, and will only increase as time goes on.

When Eventzi.com launches il make a personal guarantee to deliver the best Customer Service i can deliver. I will make sure my business is involved in the best and the worst of conversations about what we do. If its crap, il listen, we can chat and il work my ass off to make sure Eventzi helps you to really kick ass.

My views fit in with this little piece from about feedback. FEEDBACK 3.0 will be all about companies joining the conversation, if only to get their side of the story in front of the mass audience that now scans reviews. Expect smart companies to be increasingly able (and to increasingly demand) to post their apologies and solutions, preferably directly alongside reviews from unhappy customers. Expect the same for candid rebuttals by companies who feel (and can prove) that a particular review is unfair or inaccurate, and want to share their side of the story.

I’m sick of crappy service, especially customer service and i want to lead the change in how customer service is delivered to users who decide to try/use and commit to your business.
