Sales now seems to be a combination of People, Processes and Technology.

People’s behaviour has changed, they are more aware and intelligent about products and services, so businesses have to engage with customers differently. In fact sales should work hand in hand with customer services, before they become paying customers.

What is key is that businesses actually have a sales process, therefore being able to execute that on a repeatable basis. They have to learn and continually adapt that process to improve consistently.

Technology is allowing businesses to target more potential customers better than ever before and it is far easier for people to reach businesses all over the world.
